Established in 2020, Surf Sheffield was created by a group of friends who missed the ocean and wanted to bring surf culture to Sheffield. The Club's aim is to create an inclusive community to unite individuals who share a passion for the outdoors and, naturally, the ocean.

Across the year, we run surf trips to the best locations in Europe and across the U.K. as well as frequent social events all over Sheffield, including but not limited to :

• Bar crawls

• Nights out at Sidney & Matilda's, Haggler's Croner, The Washington, West Street...etc.

• Joint events with other Societies (including in the past APS, Volleyball, Mountaineering... etc.)

• Gigs (often Charity Gigs for Surfers against Sewage, Palestine Medical Aid...etc.)

• Trips to the Peaks (Camping, Hiking...etc.)

• BBQs at Bole Hills

• A Summer Ball or Garden Potluck
